Danson House was built in 1762 to designs by Sir Robert Taylor; some of the interiorís fittings are attributed to Sir William Chambers. The building is listed Grade 1 and was included in the Buildings at Risk Register. It was acquired by English Heritage in 1995 who commissioned the practice to procure repairs and reinstatement of the structure and principal interiors. The practice was also commissioned to carry out repairs to the adjacent stable block for bass taverns and to prepare an Urban Parks Lottery Bid report for the entire park with Scott Wilson for the London Borough of Bexley.
