Further Information

From extensive reconstruction to bespoke detail our work on this spectacular office complex ranged from extensive reconstruction to bespoke detail. The project involved the complete refit and linking of two adjacent buildings - a Victorian structure and an existing building by Foster and Partners. Throughout, we introduced steelwork structures to support suspended fish tanks weighing up to four tons apiece. Inside the main entrance we cut away floors to generate space for escalators, rising past giant TV screens to a new first floor reception area. All work was carried out with both buildings in full operation. In the Foster building, a curved glass atrium doubles as a lecture and presentation area. We punctured the glazed shell and engineered a steel and glass stair link between the two structures. This building also contains an new art gallery with a floating display wall, 7m high.
